Roll Edge and Seaming:
As Calypso is a heavy-duty needle punch broadloom product, slight edge compression, ripple or distortion may occasionally be visible on the factory roll edge prior to installation. This can occur during manufacturing, rolling, transport and storage and is considered normal for this style of flooring.
For best installation results, factory edges should be trimmed before seaming. A typical trim allowance is approximately 10–15mm per edge, however this may vary depending on site conditions and the installer’s visual alignment requirements.
Minor roll-edge variation will generally relax once the product is installed correctly and should not be considered a product defect.
